Elgin - Station Park : Map credit National Library of Scotland The ground was established in 1909 next to the newly built LMSR railway station. Elgin City Football Club moved from Milnefield Park to Station Park.

The Elgin Highland Games were suffering poor attendance, but were successfully held at Station Park on 16th July 1910. There were twenty events and the attendance was very good. The Northern Scot newspaper commented that the grass cycle track was very bumpy. There was one bicycle race over a mile in distance and this was won by local man F Munro.

This was probably the only bicycle race that was held at Station Park. Organised football paused during the First World War and the pitch was ploughed up to grow crops for the wartime food effort. Elgin City FC moved to the Borough Briggs ground after the First World War. The site was eventually developed as a Lidl supermarket.
